DHL, the world’s leading global express and logistics company at that time, required a state-of-the-art sorting facility designed to strategically accept and unload approximately 50 to 100 planes of cargo, then sort, redistribute and reload that cargo within a critical five to six-hour timeframe during overnight operating hours at (CVG). DHL selected Airis Holdings LLC to turnkey design, build, finance and deliver the company’s largest global hub with destinations across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific. Mr. Winstead led the Beers team on its design and construction efforts including its sorting design and equipment contract with Siemens for Arris. DHL has continued to invest in its Americas hub due to strong growth in international shipments.
